The first stop should be the visitor/observation area near the American Falls!

American Falls Exploration (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM)

Walk along the paved pathways to various viewing points of the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.

The Cave of the Winds is one experience on the American side- that you should not miss! If you are headed to Niagara Falls during the right season- this experiences offers an up-close encounter with the Falls! You are also provided with rain gear for the inevitable soaking from the mist.

Border Crossing and Canadian Perspective (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM)

Next comes the crossing over the Rainbow Bridge to the Canadian side!

Table Rock Centre, which is the welcome portal on the Canadian side, offers excellent viewing platforms and facilities.

If You Have A Full Day at the Falls

Here’s a suggested itinerary, for those who just have 24 hours to spend at Niagara Falls!

Start Early Morning! (8:00 AM)

Begin on the American side at Niagara Falls State Park! Start at the Observation Tower for panoramic views and orientation to the area’s layout. The light so early in the morning is excellent for photography! And fewer crowds, make the deal more pleasant!

Cave of the Winds and American Falls (8:30 AM – 10:00 AM)

Your next stop should be the Cave of the Winds attraction! Visitors will be taken down via elevators into the Niagara Gorge!  Get ready for an incredibly close encounter with the American Falls! The wooden pathway leads to the Hurricane Deck, where the power of the falls becomes viscerally apparent.

Maid of the Mist Experience (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM)

Maid of the Mist, as you might know is the American equivalent to Canada’s Hornblower Boat Tour! Hop on board the famous Maid of the Mist boat tour for a quintessential Niagara Falls experience! The boat approaches all three Falls, providing impossible to achieve views from just their land-based viewing areas.

Hop to the Canadian Side (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

For your lunch, we suggest you cross  over to the Canadian side via the Rainbow Bridge! Snap some unforgettable pictures from the bridge before making it to lunch! Eating at one of the restaurants overlooking the Falls will be both relaxing and memorable indeed!

Horseshoe Falls Exploration (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM)

Let’s start with Day 2 of your stay…

Exploring the Niagara Region- Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

We recommend that you start your second morning, by visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake! It is a small but charming historic town. A short drive from the Falls….this picturesque community is a totally different atmosphere from the busy Niagara Falls entertainment district !

You should go check out the Fort George National Historic Site, where military demonstrations and period displays provide insights into War of 1812 history.

Afternoon (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
